Parachute is an early-stage edtech startup I founded in 2023.
Formulated business hypothesis that students need individualized support from their higher education institution to succeed.
Tested hypothesis through data driven analysis of market research conducted over a 3 month period, determining potential customer motivations through customer interviews. In addition, market data points were gathered to find a defensible estimated total available market.
Once these discoveries were made, an MVP product was created along with a and a high level go to market strategy.
Built brand strategy and creative assets for marketing, investor messaging, and an engaging website describing our services to potential customers.
Crafted the barebones narrative for a pre-seed investor slide deck before determining not to seek investor capital until enough sustainable revenue could be generated to cover operational costs.
